Parents Communication

At ABC we welcome all parents as partners and support a two-way sharing of information that helps establish trust and understanding. We know that successful parent partnerships have the most positive influence on children’s social emotional well-being and overall development.
We are committed to supporting parents in an open and sensitive manner and include you as an integral part of the care and early learning team within the nursery. Working together ensures we can meet the individual needs of your family and provide the highest quality of care and education.
We believe it is important to spend time getting to know both you and your child before they begin their journey at ABC Nursery. This helps your child to settle smoothly, feel happy and secure, and allows you to see first-hand that your child’s wellbeing and care are always our top priority.
We aim to build a strong, positive partnership with parents, creating a supportive link between home and nursery life. By learning as much as we can about your child, we are better able to meet their individual needs and support their development. Daily informal conversations at drop-off and pick-up times are also encouraged and valued. We are always here for you and strive to be as flexible as possible, offering a personal approach tailored to you and your child’s ongoing needs. We keep families well informed through regular newsletters, notice boards, parents meetings, and social events throughout the year.
Our nursery uses Family App is a key tool that allows parents to receive real-time updates on their child’s daily activities, send and receive messages with nursery staff, and access their child’s nursery profile. This app is designed to bridge the communication gap between busy parents and practitioners, ensuring that important information is always at your fingertips.
We have many ways of ensuring the best communication. We use an early years platform called Famly. This is a useful communication tool that encourages two-way communication, it enables us to provide you with visuals and informative observations of your child’s time at nursery. This comes straight to your mobile or any device.
